I always like to begin my editorial with a quote from my favorite writer, Americas foremost philosopher and speaker who has trained most of the success trainers of today like Anthony Robbins and Mark Victor Hansen.  And his oft quoted words are to have more, we must become more. 

We all want to have more.  This has even become the copy of now famous ad by a leading cola brand in India.  But we are never trying to become more.  I have spoken to hundreds of people and asked them a simple question; how many books do they read in a week, in a month, in a year, even in the last decade.  It may not surprise you to learn most people read hardly any.  Till a few years back it was true even for me.  I was a voracious reader once.  But stopped reading with the excuse that I was too busy and anyway I got what I wanted by reading the business press.

This is not only with reading.   We stop exercising, stop learning, stop growing, and stop self improvements on a daily basis in so many areas of our life.  Thus holding us back from achieving our true potential.

Most of us stop becoming more the moment we are a little successful.  That is when we stop growing in our life, career, profession and wealth.

So friends.  Dont stop becoming more.  To become more you do not have to do too much.  Just take those small baby steps each day that add up to a considerable distance over a period of time.

One of the steps you can take is to energize and power your language.  This week I have brought you an excerpt from my popular and easy to use, goals program Goals Builder Workbook.

Our success, to a large extent depends on our ability to communicate.  The communication happens through written and spoken words, our actions and gestures.  Our communication should empower the message which we want to convey.  The words should have the power to appeal to the sense, feelings and emotions.  All great leaders have a way with words and use a hypnotic language which give them the power to carry through with their purpose and goals.
