Now this may seem to be a very contradictory statement. now just sit down to analyze the reasons for failure with all honesty.  Generally we try to pass the buck and say I failed because of so and so or the environment, economic factors, market conditions, luck or umpteen other reasons.  In my own experience I have traced the root cause of each and every one of my failures to myself.  In the ultimate analyses I could not pin the blame on any person, situation or luck.   And here is where the power surge comes.  Once you trace the reason to yourself you can now correct the reason permanently.  And believe me most of the reasons for failure springs from our own weakness in character, personality or lack of experience.  Once we bring about the change in ourselves the feeling of the strength flowing through us is indeed a powerful feeling. Albert Einstein could not could not speak till he was four years old.  His parents doubted his mental abilities. Thomas Edison was described by his teachers as the most stupid boy who could never learn anything. Beliefs are the most powerful force driving men to destinies far different from what they are actually capable of in the conventional sense. 10,000 failure in harnessing electricity to light up the world did not deter Edison because he believed it to be possible.  For all we know we might  still be living in darkness but for this belief. How many of us give up in the face of couple of failures leave alone thousands of failure.  Had colonel Sanders at the age of 60, not had the belief in his chicken recipe we may not have a worldwide chain of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) producing immense wealth for its franchises and providing jobs to millions.
